‘Digital ad market is changing’: Tech firm says digital ads are the future

Digital ads are booming and are poised to be one of the biggest markets for ad spend in the future, according to a new report by the online advertising giant Digital Ad Exchange.

Digital ad spending, the industry term for digital ads, is expected to grow by nearly 50 per cent by 2020 and $1.4 trillion to $1 trillion globally by 2024, according the report.

That compares with about $1 billion in digital advertising in 2016.

In the first quarter of 2021, digital ad spending was $8 billion, up from $5 billion a year earlier, according it.

“Digital ad spending is expected at a high level of adoption and is projected to grow at a fast pace in the coming years,” said the report, which also forecast digital advertising revenue to grow 10 per cent a year from 2020 to 2025.

Digital advertising, a term that refers to the advertising medium that uses a digital billboard or website to display advertising, is a big deal for the ad industry.

It allows advertisers to target their ads to specific demographics without having to go through traditional advertising channels.

A key reason digital advertising is so popular is that it’s cheap to create and to distribute, and advertisers have little need to buy expensive TV advertising space.

“We believe that the growth of digital advertising will have an outsized impact on the ad market,” said Alex Sussman, chief executive of Digital Ad Expo.

Digital advertising is changing the way we engage with advertisers and will continue to do so in the years ahead,” he said. “

If this growth is continued, it will result in digital ad spend becoming the primary ad market for most industries, and will likely lead to the largest number of advertisers ever to enter the market.”

Digital advertising is changing the way we engage with advertisers and will continue to do so in the years ahead,” he said.

The report predicts digital advertising spending will reach $9.6 trillion in 2020, a 35 per cent increase from $8.6 billion a decade earlier.

“According to industry estimates, digital advertising could be the fastest-growing advertising market in history by 2020.” “

There is strong evidence to suggest that the digital advertising market is on the verge of exponential growth,” said Sussmen.
